I recently had the opportunity to be featured by VoyageBaltimore, and I said yes before I could overthink it.
Being on the other side of the camera is not my comfort zone (at all), but I’m really glad I did this.
We talked about how I got started in photography, what it’s like running my own business, and what I love most about the work. And honestly, it all comes back to people. The connection, the energy, the moment when someone relaxes and you can see them as themselves in a photo.
That’s the part that never gets old for me.
If you’ve ever worked with me, you probably already know this… I’m going to guide you, I’m going to make it easy, and there’s a very good chance I’ll say something slightly ridiculous at some point just to get a real smile out of you.
It was fun (and a little surreal) to step back and talk about the bigger picture for a minute instead of just being in the day-to-day of shooting and editing.
