Meet Charles Leroy Stultz, pre-introduction to our world!

Charlie, as we will nickname him, has already made a huge splash in our lives! My office was turned into the nursery and we have loads of baby products replacing the space our things once occupied. He’s also slowing me down… waaaaaay down.
As of the end of January 2022, I have decided to take a step away from photo shoots temporarily. Our due date isn’t until late March, but photo shoots are just a little too physically demanding for my growing belly! So with this long break ahead, what does that mean?
I am still in the office… planning photo shoots, marketing, and keepin’ in touch.
I am still taking photo bookings… but for later this year.
And I am eager to work with you!
This photo biz will always be a part of what makes me, me.

Kelly + Adam’s Mini-Me FAQs:
When are you due? March 24, 2022.
Do you (Kelly) plan to keep working or will you be a stay-at-home mama? BOTH! While I’m giving myself a pretty nice maternity leave, I’ll listen to my body and decide when it’s time to get back to work. My availability will DEFINITELY change. Not only because having a kid changes EVERYTHING, but I want to be home with the munchkin. But don’t worry, I love the M-F 8am-4pm timezone and will have lots of help from Adam and 4 awesome local grandparents so I can get my photo on.
Is it a boy or a girl? It’s a BOY!!!
Did you pick a name yet? Yes. His formal name will be Charles Leroy Stultz. And I plan to call him Charlie.
Where did the name come from? Leroy is the middle name of Adam’s pappy (his great-grandfather), and we decided on Charles for his first name after joke that went well. But joking aside, “Charles” comes from a loved friend, and we loved the meaning and the nickname alternatives. And since, we have had many instances where “Charles” or a variation of the name have come up… like:
He keeps giving me “Charlie Horses”.
He makes me “Up-Chuck”.
And he has himself some loving “Charlie’s Auntie Angels”.
How are you feeling? Pregnancy is not for the weak! My body is stretching to fit a bowling ball – I’m tight, uncomfortable, can’t eat a ton, peeing constantly… I also look at the clock every night hoping it’s 9:30 or 10:00 PM so I can justify going to bed, but it’s usually about 7:00 PM. Having trouble sleeping. And the uncomfortable symptoms are always changing or simply piling on! Despite my little complaints, overall I have been lucky! I know other mama’s to be have it far more uncomfortable.
Is he kicking? Ooooooooh YES! Charlie is kicking the crap out of me, from before he was approaching about 1 pound all they way till now at about 4 pounds. I think he’s going to start a soccer team – currently he practices his kicking techniques with resident gas bubbles, ribs, and vital organs.
Will you have more kids? No idea!
Who is taking your maternity photos? We’ll do a combination of taking our own photos and getting help from parents when need be – it is pretty common that I hand my camera to my Mom, Susie. She took these, and we plan to take a few more this winter…
