This was a fun one! Taylor is a beautiful, fun, laid-back young lady, and a soon to be 2022 Graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge, MD! Near sunset, we hit the trails at Hashawha Environmental Center in norther Westminster, Maryland.
This first portrait shown below is one of my new portfolio favorites. These backlit shots can be a little tricky … photos like this are super under-exposed and brightened in post to try and salvage some of the highlight details.
“Kelly is absolutely AH-MAZING!! I was looking for some really special pictures of my daughter to celebrate her senior year, and Kelly exceeded all my hopes and dreams for this project! She patiently walked me through everything to expect, and gave me and my daughter some great tips and suggestions for preparing. She was very open to trying some location ideas that we had, and (literally) jumped right in! My daughter had such a great time posing for the photographs, and really felt supported and comfortable throughout the entire experience! And then came the pictures- absolutely gorgeous! Taylors Mom, Jessica, is actually one of my new close friends. Even before Taylors photo shoot Jessica and I decided to meet on a whim to play tennis and we must have met up at least a dozen times over this past summer… and since we’ve also gotten together for walks, bonfires, and dinner!
