David Shar of Illuminate Performance Management Consultants is an international speaker, consultant, and trainer specializing in helping organizations improve their leadership and culture, combat burnout, and design meaningful work. David combines decades of leadership experience with the latest psychological research to help organizations attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
With advanced degrees in organizational psychology, David is NOT your typical academic. As a scientist / practitioner translator with a genuine sense of humor, David makes complex leadership theory and business psychology accessible, implementable, and fun.
David also happens to make Photo Shoots EXTRA fun! David came to me looking to update his image for not just his website, but to make himself press ready as his clients market his upcoming speaking engagements. David is fun and full of life. We talked intensively about his needs and his goals with a plan to begin with a single shoot (with perhaps another to follow, *eyebrows eyebrows*).
After much consideration, David and I decided to look into PeerSpace.com, a website where you can rent professional spaces for your own project needs. We found a stylish studio space in Baltimore, Maryland that perfectly fit our needs. They even had a huge infinity wall built-in! (That’s a drool worthy accessory, in my book.)
I first have to share, that this was my first experience using PeerSpace.com, and I was very pleased. The studio was loaded with props (HELLO King’s Throne, below, lol!) and a ridiculous amount of studio equipment (despite the fact that I used my own studio lights) and the studio manager was on site to monitor and help as needed. It was an A+ experience, in my book!
David and I accomplished so much together! With an extended portrait session, we captured a variety of portraiture on the infinity wall, using other elements of their studio space (brick walls galore!), and we ended outside to take advantage of the beautiful sunny day.
I think David Shar is Marketing and Press ready, don’t you think? Let’s start planning your portrait shoot, so that you can be prepared for all the great opportunities headed your way! Email me, Kelly Heck, to start the conversation.
