Let me introduce you to Dr. Ray W. Christner, PSY.D., NCSP!
Dr. Christner, a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Professional Counselor, founded Cognitive Health Solutions, LLC in 2009, following many years private practice. He and his caring team are dedicated to promoting cognitive and behavioral health for children, adolescents, and adults patients at Cognitive Health Solutions, LLC.
Dr. Christner is no stranger to the spotlight. He and his team are regularly interviewed and featured in the press. When we spoke, he was ready to not just create new photo collections for his practice and his team, but for himself specifically. Dr. Christner is currently designing his own press package – photographs are a critical component. When opportunity comes knocking, you have to be ready to jump!
I often snap a shot here or there that is just for me at Kelly Heck Photography… like this one above. I stepped back to show my client within the simple travel-studio set-up that we brought to the comfort of his office. My gut told me I should include this photo in his proofs, and he loved it! Dr. Ray felt this photo would perfectly illustrate the importance of being “Press-Ready”. What a brilliant man!
We tackled Dr. Christner’s photo needs across two days. That way he could be focused on his personal image needs one day, and we spend the next photo session focused on his team. It’s really important not to overload yourself on a photoshoot. Posing and smiling is more exhausting than you think!! His team did amazing, posing first for Staff Headshots, then each team member got an Environmental Portrait somewhere within the office space, and a number of his team posed for Custom Stock Photos that will be used to adorn their website.
Then we wrapped up the day creating a photo collection specifically for his popular podcast, Psyched to Practice, co-hosted with Paul Wagner.
When designing a professional Press Package, it is important to offer a variety of current portraiture. Now Dr. Ray has a polished collection with many additional options to fall back on later if he needs a few more.
