I’m not a fan of the cold, but when I have a vision of what I want to create, the temp doesn’t matter and I can endure just about anything. And good thing, because it was about 17°F, snowing, and we were standing on the frozen surface of Piney Creek. Brrrrrr!! But YAY for remote triggers and intervalometers, because we didn’t’ last long!
I recently saw a fellow photographer’s photo session with a client in the snow and I thought it was so very sweet. I couldn’t shake the images from my memory, and started envisioning something similar for Adam and I. When I woke up this morning and it was snowing, super cold, with a forecast the coming days that would melt everything, I immediately woke Adam and told him to get dressed PRONTO! 🙂
Though I had planned on this being a “test shoot” to come out and do again later “for real”, but it ended up turning out so fantastic that I think these could easily count as our engagement portraits. Hope you enjoy a little look into our lives!
