I had a wonderful time working with Kelly. She was talented, professional, and efficient. I look forward to any future shoots.
Earlier this fall I had the great pleasure of working with the talented team of Elements of Style Salon in Eldersburg, Maryland, their network of make-up artists, some of whom traveled from NYC, and their incredible hair consult, Noah Hatton. Our location was in a private community on the water in Baltimore, MD. Below is a taste of our photo … Read More
I might be biased, but I think photos are an incredible gift. None of us take portraits or family photos often enough, and even when we do, we don’t often print them out. Being in printed photographs is so important… that’s why when I got a call from Jenny for a gifted photo session, I was tickled pink! Jenny explained … Read More

A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose by Eckhart Tolle … WOW. This is another one of those reads that is all encompasing through deep awareness and alternative perspectives on life, it’s hard to pinpoint what it’s all about. Books like this have sentence after sentence that you have to read multiple times to really let it sink in. I highly … Read More
Over the past two years, Kelly and I have worked together to build a photo stock portfolio to freshen marketing material for Carroll County Tourism. Kelly documented events and activities in the county that show off how much there is to do in our area. Her photographs have been a great addition to our portfolio!
I could have caught more than ‘heck’ for doing things so differently the day we met Kelly Heck, but instead we caught lightening in a bottle. Grass is not easy to photograph let alone the boring sequence from box to planting. Traditionally we have done photography in studio to control the light. Kelly wanted to use the natural light … Read More
Kelly is a total pro – easy to work with, flexible with scheduling and she makes the subjects she photographs feel comfortable, even if they don’t like their pictures taken. The staff portraits turned out beautifully – and one staffer’s husband liked hers so much he wants to have prints made for the family! We’ve used Kelly in the … Read More
I presented to a live audience at Ignite Carroll this past week for the first time!! I chose a topic of personal enjoyment instead of career boosting (yes I know, I’m crazy)… and would you believe I spoke about The History, Health Benefits, and How-To of Juggling. YES, I JUGGLE! And not only was I one of many speakers – … Read More
I asked Kelly to photograph our intimate wedding ceremony at Antrim 1812. It was just the two of us, so we didn’t need someone for hours, but wanted to capture the moment. Kelly did an excellent job, and we are thrilled with the results. I thought I would be lucky to get one or two photos that I liked, … Read More
